"MacPac" POWER CABLE KIT

A "plug and play" power cable kit for your Mac mini! No more cable splicing!!

Carnetix is pleased to announce the only "plug-and-play" power cable solution for the Apple Mac mini and your CarComputer application! The "MacPac" power cable kit connects your mini to the CNX-CA-P1900 DC-DC regulator to provide a quick and simple automotive installation. You are no longer required to cut and splice your Apple AC adapter (brick). The MacPac provides a pre-wired cable between the P1900 and the Mac mini, and includes all power and control signals necessary for full automatic startup and shutdown of the mini. The MacPac is fully compatible with the original Mac mini as well as the new Intel-based mini. (Note: Users of the CNX-P1900 V2.0 regulator and Intel-based mini will need to add a "resistor mod" to their P1900. Please check HERE for the P1900 V2.0 resistor mod).

The MacPac kit includes a Y-cable adapter that is installed between the mini's power button and the motherboard. This allows you continue to use the original Mac mini power button as well as the P1900. The MacPac and Y-cable allow you to easily remove the Mac mini from the car so that you can take the mini inside for software tweaking or updates. When indoors simply use the AC adapter that came with your mini.

The MacPac also provides access to the P1900 secondary output, DelayOn amp control, and ground via seperate wires.

AOpen Cables

"AOPac" Power Cable Kit

Plug and play power cable kit for your AOpen Pandora and the P1900 or P2140

Carnetix is pleased to announce the only "plug-and-play" power cable solution for the AOpen Pandora and your CarComputer application! The "AOPac" power cable kit connects your PC to the CNX-CA-P1900 or CNX-P2140 DC-DC regulator to provide a quick and simple automotive installation. You are no longer required to cut and splice your AC adapter cable to get the power connector. The AOPac provides a pre-wired cable between the P1900/P2140 and the AOpen Pandora, and includes all power and control signals necessary for full automatic startup and shutdown of the PC.

The AOPac kit includes all of the components of the original AOPBK (shown below), as well as a DC power cable with appropriate barrel connector to plug directly into your AOpen. As with the AOPBK, the Y-cable adapter is installed between the PC's power button and the motherboard, permitting continued use of the AOpen's power button. The AOPac allows you to easily remove the PCfrom the car so that you can take the mini inside for software tweaking or updates. When indoors simply use the AC adapter that came with your PC.

The AOPac also provides access to the P1900/P2140 secondary output, DelayOn amp control, and ground via seperate wires.

AOpen Power Button Cable Kit

The kit is designed to provide a plug-and-play (ie no soldering) connection to the AOpen power button which can be exteneded outside of the AOpen chassis and connected to the ACPI output of the P1900. This cable will simplify, and make more reliable the AOpen/P1900 installation.

The cable kit contains two pieces. One piece is inserted between the front panel switch pcb cable and the motherboard. The second piece provides a removable cable section for connecting to the P1900 ACPI output. This allows you to easily remove the AOpen from the car so that you can take it indoors for software updates.

Xenarc MP-SC8 Power Cable Kit

This power cable kit provides a "plug-and-play" cabling solution for either the P1900 or P2140 and a Xenarc MP-SC8. No soldering is required.
